Speed, Agility, and Quickness. This IHD Explosive Power Skating Program is designed for Rep Level Atom, Peewee, and Bantam players. All sessions will consist of HIGH LEVEL POWER SKATING with several training tools such as Parachutes, Resistance Harnesses, and Speed Bungees. Each session will be conducted in a circuit training format using several unique training methods to challenge and push each player. This class is for the player wanting and willing to push themselves to the limit. The expectation is hard work and commitment with maximum results as the reward.

SCORING GOALS AND HAVING THE MINDSET TO SCORE GOALS IS A SKILL WHICH HAS MANY LAYERS. DEVELOPING THIS SKILL WILL ALLOW PLAYERS TO CREATE MORE OPPORTUNITIES IN GAME SITUATIONS.

This week long, half day camp is designed to work on a variety of stick handling skills and drills which will challenge players to advance their ability to handle the puck. This camp will encompass everything with the puck. All skills and drills will be done with the puck. Learning to play the game with speed, controlling the puck and keeping your eyes up is the foundation to making plays at a high level. The use of various training aids and tools will challenge the players and motivate them to improve at each session. Breaking the group into stations to target specific areas will provide a very productive environment for learning.

Carrying the puck in open ice

Stick handle through various cone drills

1130 – 1230 PM OFF-ICE STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING

This week long, half day camp will be for players wanting to learn a variety of shooting and scoring techniques as well as strategies. The focus will be on scoring specifics, shooting, puck skills, deception and deeks. Players will learn the key fundamentals to shooting as well as how to use those skills in game situations. Each session will challenge the players from basic to advanced scoring drills. Players will learn how to score in a variety of different situations to advance their overall game.

- Shooting techniques
- Deeks and moves
- Quick release
- Net Drives
- Execution of 2-1 and 3-2
- Attacking with feet moving and head up
- Breakaway moves and deeks

THE OFF-ICE STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING WILL FOCUS ON SPORT SPECIFIC EXERCISES AND WORK SPEED, AGILITY, QUICKNESS, BALANCE, FLEXIBILITY AND CONDITIONING.

This week long, half day camp will be focused on defense specific skills. This is the class for players looking to key in on the critical elements that all defensemen need to develop. Often in team practices the defense do not get the time and devotion they need to develop. In this program players will focus on:

- Defense specific skating
- Backward quick starts
- Transition skating
- Lateral movement
- Pivots
- Gap control
- Angling
- One on one play
- Break outs
- Point shots

THE OFF-ICE STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING WILL FOCUS ON SPORT SPECIFIC EXERCISES AND WORK SPEED, AGILITY, QUICKNESS, BALANCE, FLEXIBILITY AND CONDITIONING.

This week long, half day camp is designed for rep caliber players looking to work on a variety of different skills to evaluate their compete level in game play. The program will push players out of their comfort zone and incorporate one on one battles in the offensive & defensive zone as well as include open ice one on one drills, net drives and defending. Each session will be high intensity and players will be held to a high standard.

THE OFF-ICE STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING WILL FOCUS ON SPORT SPECIFIC EXERCISES AND WORK SPEED, AGILITY, QUICKNESS, BALANCE, FLEXIBILITY AND CONDITIONING.

This week long, half day camp is designed is all about Speed, Agility, and Quickness. This IHD Explosive Power Skating Program is designed for Rep Level Atom, Peewee, and Bantam players. Players will be grouped according to division. All sessions will consist of HIGH LEVEL POWER SKATING with several training tools such as Parachutes, Resistance Harnesses, and Speed Bungees. Each session will be conducted in a circuit training format using several unique training methods to challenge and push each player. This class is for the player wanting and willing to push themselves to the limit. The expectation is hard work and commitment with maximum results as the reward.

THE OFF-ICE STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING WILL FOCUS ON SPORT SPECIFIC EXERCISES AND WORK SPEED, AGILITY, QUICKNESS, BALANCE, FLEXIBILITY AND CONDITIONING.
